About the Course
Deme Acres was opened in 1962.
The family owned course is in a quiet, rural setting and has wide fairways lined with beautiful evergreen trees. The 18 hole, Par 70 course is open to the public daily. Membership and league information can be obtained by calling or visiting the clubhouse. The course is currently being operated by The Bolster Family.
COURSE CHANGES
We have officially changed the routing of the course. The Front 9 has been changed to the Back 9. We also broke up the two back-to-back par 3s (Old 13/14 holes). We also changed the colors of the tee blocks to match the other aspects of the course with the back tee changed from White to Blue, middle tee changed from Red to White, and the front tee changed from Yellow to Red.
The Course
Front Nine
The front 9, with a par of 34 is much shorter than the back, but is very tight with tall white pine and spruce trees lining each hole. Hole #5 is a 350 yard par 4 that is easy on the eyes, but hard on the game. With a slight dogleg to the right, this hole is known for destroying rounds.
Back Nine
The back 9, with a par of 36, is longer but more open than the front. Hole #14 is one of the toughest par 3s in southeast Michigan. It is a 225 yard par 3 with a stream and willow trees lining the left edge. A par on this hole feels like a birdie.
